Cheryl is my boss.
I've been working with young people for a long time now, and I can tell you, just when you think you've got them all worked out, they'll throw a few surprises at you. It all starts when a young person decides they're no longerbecause they then immediately define themselves as adults.
Makes sense, when adullt think about it. So they want the respect that's due to adults, and the freedom to make choices about their lives. Unfortunately, being new at the adult business, they don't have a lot of experience to base their decisions on, and so they often make what we wise ones see as bad choices.

But you can't just tell them that. I mean, they're not children any more, are they?!
If crait get my meaning. But they do want to know what you think. You just need to be careful in how you approach them.
Be prepared. It's not like in your day - they're just as likely to ask you about your sex life or talk about drugs and getting drunk as they are to make personal comments and jokes about you, all just to see how you'll react. Getting tested.
If you want to pass, stay cool, keep your wits about you, and be honest about what you'll accept from them. Most of them will respect that.
After all, that's how adults treat each other. Isn't it?
